UMANA POETICA (2017)

Invited to work in an ancient grotto, I revived the feminine origin of art as performed by prehistoric women by blowing red clay on cave walls, leaving the marks of their hads – and thus of their identity and presence. I enhanced the feminine aspect by placing a lock of my hair in the heart of the work, along with a drop of blod that Làzaro Saavedra and I drew from our fingers, in a contemporary version of the blood-tie ritual.
